Junglist Drums – This isn’t your usual drum kit!
Jungle music also known as Drum n Bass is a popular form of underground dance music.
The fast tempos (150 to 170 bpm) and heavily syncopated percussive loops, samples and synthesized effects make up the easily recognizable form of Jungle music. Producers create the drum patterns by cutting apart breakbeats. Long computer generated snare rolls are also common in Oldschool jungle.
Popular Jungle Artists include Aphrodite, Grooverider, Pendulum and LTJ Bukem.
